Our responsibility is to provide you with fashionable-luxury and forward-thinking garments, that are meant to be worn long term – staying in line with natures resources.
Bold and courageous, we strive to find the latest innovations on our way to a responsible future. Exploring entirely new approaches to face the challenges of conscious and ethical luxury production, without compromises, is something that makes our products unique and qualitative.
Details matter. That‘s why we make sure every part of our design process is as responsible as possible. We try to use what is already there to reduce our impact on the environment.
With respect to the planet we will continue to source raw materials, eliminate synthetic fibres, unethical practices and unconscious procedures. We use eco-friendly materials and sustainable fibres like: Organic Cotton (GOTS), Modal/Lyocell, Lenzing Tencel, Bamboo, Local Italian Wool, Recycled Cashmere (GRS)
We are constantly working to reduce our Carbon footprint, by developing and re-evaluating every step along the product cycle.
We try to reduce waste and keep our packaging to a minimum.

We are constantly looking for the most exciting innovations to make fashion more beautiful. We believe in design with respect for our environment and the life within. That's why we support small sustainable productions, local manufactures and artisans with every collection.
Every single Fassbender piece is made with a human touch, creativity and emotions. The designs are handmade on dress form, manually drawn and perfected with meticulous cutting techniques.
We believe in the connectedness of things and work towards a responsible circular economy with mutual respect. Therefore, we collaborate with certified workshops with the highest ethical standards in the creation process.
We try to eliminate hidden non-sustainable elements in our production and fibres. For example, our buttons and zippers are plastic-free and made in Germany.
The entire collection is made in Portugal and Belgium. Thereby, committed to a responsible production with respect to everyone and everything involved.
Materials matter – For every product we make we carefully consider the aesthetic, quality, functionality and sustainability attributes of the fabrics.
Cashball® is a flock of recycled cashmere and micro-fibres – a sustainable alternative to goose down and synthetic fillings. The animal-friendly and light-weight padding is made with global recycling standards in Italy. Wind resistance and warm, it is characterized as comfortable, yet functional.
The tough yet soft material is an alternative to leather based on nopal, a Mexican cactus. The novel and biodegradable fabric is sustainable produced without toxic chemicals and a water-friendly procedure.
Our natural materials, like alpaca and lambs wool, are produced by animal-friendly farms. The Mulesing-free production does not harm the animals and ensures a high quality of the material.
Dead Stock and Vintage fabrics are a great opportunity for our Zero Waste approach. We try to avoid new Lining materials and use what is already there.
The sustainable and vegan leather alternative is produced in Japan. As a renewable and fast growing resource it is the perfect base for our non-leather-luxury products, with a conscious vision.
The cruelty-free silk is ethically produced without harming anyone and anything – with a gentle and chemical-free procedure. Therefore, Ahimsa silk is a favourable alternative to normal silk.
We believe that circularity and mindfulness is the new modern. Therefore, we try to come up with new ideas and encourage you with our vision to be part of a long-term commitment
We ensure that every garment is made from the best possible materials to guarantee longevity. Fassbender Pieces are meant to be Iconic Classics, that can be reused every season, passed on to the next generation and be cherished over time.
Working towards a circular fashion circular economy, the brands new sustainability program was unveiled in September 2021. Second Life is offering personalized custom-made up-cycled garments from previous season's stock – reducing waste, protecting our environment and act responsible. Keeping our holistic philosophy in mind, we encourage you to take care of your clothes and if the time comes you wish to part ways: Gift or swap them with a loved one, rent them via ClothesFriends or sell them on a resale platform such as Vestiaire Collective or TheRealReal.
We celebrate the skin you are in with our first sustainable denim collection – staying in line with natures resources. The Collection/Every denim product is made in Portugal with 100% organic cotton using a vegetable and mineral dying-process. The innovative dying process ensures a reduction of water consumption of around 80%, compared to conventional denim making.
